Antony Rapley
Godalming Office - Paul Machell joined recently to take charge of the Godalming Office, established in the town for over 20 years, releasing senior manager Stuart Maxwell to return full-time to the Cranleigh office. Paul has an extensive knowledge of the area having lived and worked locally for most of his life. He has over 20 years residential experience and has held key roles in the industry working previously for Strutt and Parker and Hamptons.
Joining Paul’s team is Alison West. Alison originally trained and worked as a Legal Secretary for 18 years working for some of the large legal practices locally. After taking time out to have a family she decided to change direction and work in Estate Agency and she has worked in Godalming for three years
Commercial Property Department - Joining the Commercial dept at mse Guildford head office, in a newly created role, is Antony Rapley. An experienced Commercial Surveyor, Antony has followed a successful career within the property industry over the last fifteen years spanning both the residential and commercial sectors in the Home Counties and South East regions. He achieved a distinction in the Diploma in Surveying Practice at Reading University and will be supported by mse in his pursuit of membership of RICS. Antony’s main focus at mse will be Commercial Agency complementing the extensive property management, valuation and professional work undertaken by the department. The team is headed up by Tim Alden and includes two other Chartered Surveyors working in the newly refurbished High Street premises.
“These new appointments represent a significant reinvestment in staffing at mse and mark a strategic shift from the cost driven consolidation, which brought us through the winter, to a position where we are now concentrating again on developing market share across both residential and commercial sectors. I welcome this positive progress in the company and look forward to the future with considerable excitement. Not forgetting that this is the year we celebrate an incredible 120 years service in the area. My best wishes to the new additions for a happy and successful career with mse” Michael Ginsberg, Senior Partner
